April 18, 2018 – Halvik is pleased to announce that we were selected as an awardee on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Services for Enabling Agile Delivery (SEAD) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Under terms of the BPA, Halvik will provide Agile coaching to DHS and its component agencies at both the enterprise and tactical levels to increase the pace of adoption and quality of agile practices. Halvik team members will be embedded in DHS projects to assist programs in researching and implementing emerging technology, improving development and delivery methods, providing hands-on mentorship and teaching in the use of continuous delivery technology and Agile/Lean processes, and providing innovative ideas to increase the adoption of Agile and continuous delivery.
The vehicle has a $300 million ceiling over 5 years, and Halvik is one of 9 small business awardees. SEAD has been designated by DHS as a Strategic Sourcing Vehicle for procurement of Agile Coaching services within the Department. This contract aligns with DHS Digital Strategy and supports the organization’s commitment to the unified adoption of sustainable Agile frameworks that deliver software and infrastructure capabilities in a consistent and reliable manner.
